We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for providing support to the Manager in overseeing daily operations, maintaining employee scheduling, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organization abilities, and a passion for achieving goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth functioning of the team.
- Maintain employee scheduling, ensuring appropriate staffing levels at all times.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching as needed.
- Assist in recruiting and training new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns, resolving issues promptly and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Manager to achieve sales targets and meet business objectives.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and coordinating merchandise displays.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications;
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a leadership position is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both customers and team members.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of inventory management and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
