As an Assistant Manager of Security, you would be responsible for overseeing our organization's security and surveillance staff. Create strategies depending on the organization's needs, coordinate personnel and monitor equipment.
Key Responsibilities include:
Team Supervision and Training:
- Monitor the activities of your security team on the ground, providing guidance and training to ensure effective interactions with visitors, vendors, and employees.
- Train security personnel to uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service while maintaining security protocols.
Record Keeping and Patrols:
- Maintain daily records, including incident and accident reports, ensuring thorough documentation of security-related activities and events.
- Conduct regular patrols and spot checks of the premises, including outlets, guest areas, and public spaces, to ensure the safety and security of the property. Evaluate security officers' performance through spot checks.
Emergency Response and Safety Promotion:
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life or property, taking appropriate actions to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of guests and employees.
- Assist the Security Manager as needed in coordinating emergency response efforts and implementing safety protocols.
Incident Investigation and Guest Relations:
- Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents as needed, documenting findings accurately and writing reports to ensure the accuracy and completeness of necessary documentation.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner, resolving any issues or concerns to enhance guest satisfaction and experience.
General Responsibilities:
- Fulfill any other duties as assigned, supporting the overall security operations of the property and contributing to the smooth functioning of daily activities.
What you will bring:
- At least 2 years' experience in a security field or similar role.
- Effective communication skills.
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
- CPR/First Aid Certificate.
- AED Certification.
