What You'll Do
We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our Information Technology Group which is responsible for managing our IT Infrastructure. To serve as the Server & Storage Architect you will design and implement information systems that support IT infrastructure. This position is for a Server and Storage System Architect. As system architect, one will define the next generation architecture of the Server and Storage systems, lead new technology research, study market trends. Although the position is primarily hardware based; the candidate must interface with datacenter, software/firmware, mechanical, thermal, layout. Candidates must have strong knowledge in Server design, Storage controllers and subsystems, as well as implementation in Enterprise class systems and Cloud infrastructure. Experienced in the implementation of x86 based designs as well as knowledge in Ethernet, FC, SCSI, NVMe, SAS and PCIe protocols and rack level integration design will be a plus.
Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time the remainder of your time.

- Design, build and apply the optimal server, storage and related services
- Analyze the server and storage specifications required by the lab and suggest the best way
- Identify and manage the overall status of the server, storage and related services. Establish an optimal management process
- Define and document architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for server and storage, related solutions
- Design and Participate infrastructure projects; participate in the company's projects as a systems specialist and solution provider, with the overall aim of providing well engineered, secure, and integrated solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network, security, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of solutions into the overall IT ecosystem
- Conduct technical evaluations and proofs-of-concept to evaluate server and storage products from external vendors and report on the same as a technical expert and advisor
- Analyzing IT resource utilization and establishing optimization plans
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in server and storage
What You Bring
- Bachelor's with 5+ years of relevant industry experience, or Masters with 3+ years or PhD in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field preferred.
- Fluency in Korean language is Required.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a server and storage administration
- Broad technical and practical skills with common infrastructure systems including but not limited to: HPE, Cisco, Dell, Lenovo, Netapp, AWS, Azure, GCP, Linux, Microsoft Windows Server, Virtualization/VMware, server clustering, MS Active Directory, enterprise backup, network protocols, general networking concepts
- Understanding of distributed UNIX system concepts such as NFS, autofs, DNS, LDAP and/or NIS
- Ability to identify complex problems, review information to develop and evaluate options, then propose solutions is imperative
- Advanced skills with Microsoft office, including skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience in customer support or quality assurance is a plus.
