Description/Comment: | The Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for the assembly and repair pneumatic low and high-pressure packing pumps in the production line with minimum supervision. Job Responsibilities: Read, understand, and follow assembly prints Experience with Electro/Mechanical components Use of assembly hand tools is to include crimp tools, drills, torque wrenches, rivet and insertion tools etc. as required Build finished assemblies within defined time standards and with high level of quality Troubleshoots assemblies and makes appropriate adjustments/corrections to hardware. Use a variety of precision measuring and gauging instruments e.g., scale, calipers, micrometers, etc. Maintains a record of assembly process, progress, and problems Build finished assemblies within defined time standards and with high level of quality Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. Performs other jobs as needed for production and as assigned by Team Lead Good communication skills and team member who's able to work with a diverse staff. Assist other technicians for PM and Projects. Computerized tickets system and PM. Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Prefer previous experience in manufacturing is preferred Computer skills: Microsoft Office products and email Knowledgeable of integration processes, concepts, alternatives, and best practices Ability read engineering schematics and drawings Quick learner with ability to follow direction, problem solve, multitask, and adapt to changes to promote efficiency and productivity Must be flexible and available to work overtime as required by EF needs Standing, bending, reaching, and handling bulky parts with the ability to frequently lift to 35 pounds |
