ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-
Assists daily work for loader drivers, minors, and sparge.
-
Communicate with the various plant supervisors on the daily run list.
-
Check screens and other machinery on a daily basis to ensure proper function.
-
Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the plant and surroundings.
-
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local ordinances affecting this position.
-
Ensure compliance with all Company policies and programs.
-
Maintain and reduce shrinkage and eliminate excess shrinkage.
-
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
-
Minimum High School Degree or GED equivalent preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
-
Must have two years of experience in the industry.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

None.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
-
Must have basic knowledge in production environment.
-
Must be self-motivated and can work independently.
-
Must be able to read daily run list and batch sheets.
-
Must be able to distinguish between like materials.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Communicating with internal and external customers – must be able to talk, hear, see, and comprehend.
-
Mobility of arms – Must be able to reach, and use arms to manipulate small objects.
-
Mobility inside the plant – Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, reach, bend, occasionally lift up to 100 pounds by hand, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Work is routinely performed in a general warehouse environment on a concrete surface, with frequent exposure to both internal and external environment.

Frequent exposure to severe weather conditions, both heat and cold.

Frequent exposure to dust, and noise levels that exceed a normal threshold.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:

Must wear steel-toed boots.

Required: Safety glasses and ear plugs

Recommended: Gloves, back brace, and safety attire as noted by guides provided in specific areas. These items will be provided by Harrell’s upon request.

Personal Protective Equipment must be worn in accordance with SDS recommendations.
