Job Description: Arcadia University invites applications for two Tenure-Track Assistant Professor positions in the Department of Biology beginning August 2025.
Successful candidates should possess a PhD in a biology-related discipline and teaching experience at the college level. Post-doctoral experience is strongly preferred. Our new colleagues will be expected to teach one or more of the following courses: Genetics, Plant Biology, and Human Anatomy, and contribute to our introductory biology series and other biology courses. The successful candidates will have research interests that complement our department. Start-up funds and laboratory space are available.

Responsibilities:
- Teaching one or more of the following: Genetics, Plant Biology, or Human Anatomy lecture and labs.
- Supporting instruction in introductory biology series and other biology courses as needed by the department.
- Developing a research program that involves undergraduate students.
- Department and University service, including participation in committees, advising students, supporting and mentoring adjunct faculty, curriculum development, and assessment.
Qualifications:
- PhD in biology or a closely related field and teaching experience at the college level.
- Experience mentoring students in research and evidence of research productivity.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and success of students in the sciences.
