The Division of Adolescent Medicine at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital (DCH) seeks a full-time faculty member at the assistant or associate professor level. DCH is a 151-bed modern state-of-the art facility on the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) campus and serves as the tertiary and quaternary referral center for all of Oregon and SW Washington. Currently, the Division of Adolescent Health has three faculty.
The duties of this position include:
- This faculty member will provide patient care, including consultations with physicians at other regional medical centers.
- This position will provide both primary and specialty care for adolescents and young adults.
- Clinical work will include outpatient clinic and inpatient service at Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
- Adolescent Health faculty members at OHSU also provide clinical teaching and supervision of Pediatric & Family Medicine residents and medical students, and other trainees, at DCH.
- This position will educate both in the clinical environment and through conferences, seminars, and interdepartmental activities.
- MD/DO, eligible for Oregon medical licensure
- Board certified in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine, and board certified or eligible in Adolescent Medicine
