Assistant Varsity Swim Coach - Radford City School District

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assisting with the writing and conducting of daily workouts,
• Assist in building the swim program and plan for its future.
• Must be able to attend all practices and swim meets.
• Assit with supervision and instruction of student-athletes during all team activities
• Promotion of balanced achievement in all areas of school life for student-athletes
• Assist in Home meet preparations
• Assist the Head Coach in all other team management and season management duties

Qualifications

• Competitive swimming or coaching background at a high school, college, YMCA, or club program level preferred
• CPR / First Aid Training, Fundamentals of Coaching Training, Health and Safety for Coaches, and Concussion Training preferred
• Complete orientation through human resources including fingerprinting and background checks
