Associate Attorney - Business Litigation - Gpac

We have a great opportunity to join a prestigious California business law firm as an Associate Attorney. We are searching for an associate with a strong background in civil or business litigation and thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, exceptional communication skills, and a minimum of three years of litigation experience in private practice. 

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Member and in good standing of the California State Bar
• 3-7+ years of litigation experience, preferably in civil or commercial defense insurance defense
• Experience in all phases of litigation up to trial including discovery, depositions and hearings, and settlement negotiation
• Proficient in drafting complaints, motions, briefs, memorandums, discovery, and other legal correspondence
• Superior written and verbal communication skills and collaborates well in a team environment
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks while meeting deadlines efficiently
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to think strategically
• Trial experience is welcome, but not a requirement
