Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation - Adams & Martin Group

A well-established boutique law firm in Boulder, CO is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join their dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of civil litigation experience and must possess an active Colorado law license. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Litigate civil cases in state and federal courts.
• Conduct legal research, including use of Lexis+
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Draft written discovery requests and responses.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Provide legal counsel to clients, build and maintain strong client relationships, and effectively communicate legal strategies and case updates.
• Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Attend court hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members on complex legal matters.

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado law license (in good standing).
• 1-2 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.

Base salary of $90,000 - $120,000 (depending on experience) and performance-based bonuses.
