We are seeking an accomplished associate attorney to join a recognized Commercial Litigation practice. Candidates should have excellent academic credentials and communication skills, and have a minimum of three years of experience in commercial litigation and/or related business matters. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience representing and counseling clients through all phases of litigation and the ability to independently manage their own caseload. Associates work collaboratively with attorneys and staff to deliver the best results for their clients.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3 or more years of commercial litigation experience, such as breach of contract, partnership disputes, insurance law, employment disagreements, product liability, and/or business torts and class actions
- Experience drafting and arguing motions, propounding and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, and trial preparation
- Strong writing and case management skills, direct experience handling clients and adversaries, and excellent oral advocacy skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and client communication
- Proficient in handling multiple cases and priorities while meeting deadlines efficiently
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
- Trial experience is preferred, but not a requirement
