Job Details
We are looking for a Defense Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of insurance defense experience to manage a diverse caseload from pre-suit to arbitration/trial.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all phases of litigation, including depositions, discovery, trial pleadings, and court appearances.
Approach trial and arbitration proceedings with confidence and strategic insight.
Ensure compliance with Florida and federal rules of civil procedure, e-filing processes, and court deadlines.
Develop and implement innovative defense strategies to effectively advocate for clients.
Directly engage with clients, providing strategic advice on relevant business matters.
Conduct seminars for clients as needed.
Analyze and review medical records pertinent to litigation cases.
Maintain a meticulous, organized approach while managing a high volume of cases.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in insurance defense.
Strong understanding of Florida Bar rules and federal civil procedure.
Must be admitted to the Florida Bar (Required).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Westlaw, and/or Lexis.
