We are seeking an Associate Attorney with a focus on Workers Compensation to join our dynamic legal team. You will be handling complex workers compensation cases, providing legal advice, and representing clients in court. This role requires a deep understanding of workers compensation law and a passion for advocating for the rights of workers. Responsibilities
As a Associate Attorney - Workers Compensation, you will:
1. Manage a caseload of workers compensation cases, from inception to conclusion.
2. Conduct legal research and analysis on workers compensation matters.
3. Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
4. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in workers compensation cases.
5. Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, and agreements.
6. Provide legal advice to clients on workers compensation issues.
7. Collaborate with our team of attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies.
8. Stay updated on changes in workers compensation laws and regulations.
9. Participate in professional development and networking activities.
Qualifications
To be successful as a Permanent Associate Attorney - Workers Compensation, you should have:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 1 years of experience in workers compensation law.
3. Admission to the state bar.
4. Strong litigation experience with a focus on workers compensation cases.
5. Excellent research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
6. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
7. Ability to manage a large caseload and work under pressure.
8. Strong ethical standards and a commitment to client confidentiality.
