Our DFW client is in the nonprofit field and they are seeking an Associate Director of Litigation to partner closely with the Director of Litigation to manage the full litigation case load of the organization.  This is a leadership role but does not have any direct reports.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the firm’s litigation strategy and practices
• Manage significant trial and appellate legal work
• Mentor and support staff attorneys (total of 200 attorneys, but none are direct reports)
• Review caseloads and ensure appropriate case development
• Assist in developing litigation policies and training programs

Skills Required:

• 8+ years of progressive litigation experience including trials and appeals
• Passion for public interest (experience in family law, civil law, children advocacy, etc).
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to strategize, plan projects and provide guidance to others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic and sense of accountability
