What You'll Do
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values

- Interact professionally and timely with clients via email, phone, and in-person
- Apply business, accounting, finance and analytical acumen to various client situations and practice disciplines including, but not limited to: conduct due diligence on balance sheet and profit and loss statement items, select representative samples from data populations for detailed testing, prepare receivable/payable agings and roll-forwards from data provided, and financial modeling
- Assess risk of liquidation of assets in the context of an Asset Based Loan, primarily through detailed testing of transactions and development of a liquidation waterfall to ensure lenders are properly secured against deteriorating performance of a borrower
- Develop Quality of Earnings and Net Working Capital adjustments based on accounting principles, financial trends, and discussions with management
- Prepare draft written analyses, presentations, quantitative exhibits, and other reports for third parties
- Create work products that are flexible, understandable, and usable by others
- Maintain communication with clients and staff members on engagements, while updating senior team members on progress and issues
- In depth knowledge of all products and services provided by RedRidge
You Should Have
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS include but are not limited to:
- Two plus years of public accounting or related transactional experience
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills
- Strong ability to maintain project deadlines and focus
- High attention to detail
- Experience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams)
- Professional designation or license (preferred) – Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and/or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
- Moderate travel (25%)
- Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting
