responsibilities:
In this role, you will perform routine GMP testing and support various laboratory activities at the company's manufacturing facility and affiliated contract organizations. This position will focus on molecular and cell biology and general lab support activities. The role involves supporting the QC operations for raw materials, drug substance, and drug product, including data management and documentation.
- Perform routine bioassay and analytical testing, including qPCR, sequencing, electrophoresis
- Support raw material testing
- Prepare reagents, maintain lab equipment, and perform housekeeping tasks
- Order, receive, and inventory supplies and materials
- Write, revise, and follow SOPs and protocols management activities such as scanning and uploading records
- Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish and maintain a safe laboratory working environment
- Accountable for all mandatory training and assigned tasks.
- Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time
qualifications:
- Education: BA/BS Degree; STEM degree with 0-2 years of experience in a GMP QC laboratory setting, focusing on molecular biology and/or Bioassays
- Hands-on experience with qPCR, sequencing, gel electrophoresis, cell culture assays, and lab equipment
- Ability to prepare reagents, pipette small volumes, work in a Biological Safety Cabinet
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs and electronic databases (LIMS, SAP, eQMS)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate scientific issues clearly
- Strong written and oral communication skills and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of GMP, aseptic techniques, and general laboratory instrumentation (e.g. pH meters, balances, pipettes)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional matrix environment
- Familiarity with relevant FDA, EU, ICH guidelines, and regulations
