Invariant, a bipartisan government relations and communications firm providing strategic advice to companies, trade associations, non-profits, and individuals, seeks an Associate to join our team and support the CEO’s office. You will serve as a strategic partner and force multiplier – the “glue” that allows our CEO to do her best work and keep the whole firm moving forward.

What you’ll do:
- Assist with scheduling and act as back up to Executive Assistant
- Sort through mail and respond to invitations
- Assist with drafting emails, correspondence, and documents
- Research, hire, and supervise vendors; run errands
- Ensure properties are client ready
- Assist with special projects
- Support other day-to-day tasks and ad hoc scheduling needs of others as they arise
Who you are:
- You have experience as an Executive or Personal Assistant supporting a Member of Congress or c-suite executive
- You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- You have a high level of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity
- You are resourceful, proactive, and able to deal with issues as they arise
- You are organized, able to multitask, and work under pressure with attention to detail
- You can balance competing priorities, work efficiently and independently, and manage up to the CEO
- You are a team player with a positive can-do, no job is too small attitude
- You are available off hours and via text as needed
The target salary range for this role is $60,000 - $67,500 USD annually. This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime. This position may require evening and weekend work, sometimes without advance notice.
The base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and market data.
