Dear Interested Applicants,

My name is Benjamin Shelly, and I am a second generation veterinarian and practice owner just south of the Pocono mountains, Pennsylvania. 40 years ago, my father started Little Gap Animal Hospital outside the town of Palmerton and began serving the local community as their veterinarian. He soon expanded, opening Blue Ridge Veterinary Clinic in Walnutport, where he continued to practice, raise a family, and seek happiness for the decades to follow.

In 2024, I became the new steward to my father’s legacy. Through our years together, he taught me much of what I needed to know to be an effective veterinarian, communicator, and leader.

As a veterinarian I promise my clients consistency in my compassion and dedication for their pets’ health and wellbeing. I look to foster a relationship of trust with every person that walks through my doors. I am looking for an associate who shares these values and appreciates giving back to a community that has given myself and my family so much over the past 40+ years.

As an owner I believe in fostering a positive and welcoming environment amongst our employees.
