Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, alimony, domestic violence, pre-and post-nuptial agreements, and other related issues.
- Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients, ensuring they are fully informed of their rights and options.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and pleadings with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, advocating zealously on their behalf.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in family law and related regulations.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Family Law.
- Active member in good standing with the State Bar.
- Proven trial experience and strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
