Job Overview
Reporting to the Associate Director of Center for Student Involvement (CSI), the Assistant Director - Student Organizations is a full-time professional staff member in CSI. They provide strategic oversight for over 600 registered student organizations (RSOs), coordinate two involvement fairs, advise an organization that provides peer support for RSOs and their leaders, and review and implement relevant policies.
Essential Functions
Advising
Serve as the advisor for a student organization, SAB, that supports, guides, and helps promote all RSO's and RSO leaders
Weekly one on one meetings with student leaders
Attend weekly SAB evening meeting
Provide consultation to students seeking to get involved in student organizations
Registered Student Organization Support
Assist in the development of 600+ RSO's
Coordinatethe registration process for all student organizations
Maintain RSO tier system & compliance in collaboration with Associate Director
Conduct annual RSO Advisor Training and semester round tables in collaboration with Program Manager
Work collaboratively with program managers to determine RSO funding eligibility
Maintain and update RSO and Advisor resources to ensure all policies and procedures are relevant and compliant with Federal, State, and University regulations
Assist with Collin's Law, Title IX, & Clery initiatives
Serve as office contact for RSO conduct matters
Support the development and implementation of new student organization training workshop, in partnership with the Student Activities Board
Coordinatesemester involvement fairs
Develop career readiness initiatives for student organization community
Assist with departmental and programmatic assessment for RSO's

Manage operational expenses within an established budget
Assist with coordination/execution of student employee trainings
Assist in efforts to achieve annual CSI office-wide goals
Supervision
Supervise 2 full-time professionals
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree
Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement
Required Experience
Three (3) years related experience
Additional Qualifications Considered
Experience with Anthology Engage platform or other student engagement software
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
