Asst. Director- Individual Solutions Sales - Principal Financial Group

What You'll Do:

We’re looking for an Assistant Director to join our education services solution team. In this role, you’ll help innovate how our education teams impact our employees qualified plan outcomes!

• Leader of Leaders leading all aspects of direct to consumer retirement readiness guidance and solutions. This role also leads a team of front line direct reports.
• Establish and meet asset consolidation goals
• Using data to determine strategic direction and drive accountability
• Monitor and maintain a quality assurance program

Who You Are:

• 8+ years of related experience on a sales team demonstrated through work experience, education, or military training (Strong preference for qualified plan retirement background).
• Previous leadership experience required with sound operational and supervisory judgment
• Must have excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and oral and written communication skills.
• Critical to possess personal accountability and ability to motivate and influence others.
• Effective with time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated commitment to holding yourself and others to a high degree of integrity, building and sustaining strong partnerships with leadership, peers and colleagues.
• Some travel may be required (35%).

• Adaptable to change and able to work independently with limited information and direction.
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry, competition within the industry, along with business unit and company product knowledge.

Securities exams and IAR appointment include (Licenses required within 5 months with a strong preference for fully licensed):

• Series 6 and 63 (or equivalent), Series 24 or 26 (or equivalent), as required by applicable state law to become IAR with Principal Securities, Inc.'s RIA . You’ll be required to become a non-registered fingerprint person of PSI.

Salary Range Information:Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Salary Range:$123000 - $167000 / yearTime Off Program:Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.Pension Eligible:YesAdditional Information:
