Role Description
This is a full-time “hybrid or remote” role for an Attorney at Dorsett Johnson & Cisneros. The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, and handling litigated files from beginning to end. The role will involve accounting for your time through a time billing application, drafting assessment and status reports to clients, drafting legal documents, and regularly representing clients in court. While the role is primarily based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, cases will frequently require travel statewide.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of basic negligence defense
- Experience in billing your time
- Experience in drafting client reports
- Experience providing legal advice and conducting research
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Admission to the state bar of Texas
