Attorney - Employment Law - MilSpec Talent

Our client is a premiere defense law firm, founded in 1996. They specialize in workers’ compensation, employment law, general liability, state audits, and subrogation. Our client is looking for attorneys who wants to join a well established and respected team.

Title: Employment Attorney

Location: California (Remote)

Compensation: $150-225K

Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on legal issues stemming from the employer-employee relationship.

• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and handbooks.

• Representing clients in employment litigation and disputes.

• Investigating workplace incidents and complaints.

• Advising on compliance with labor and employment regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have a well-established and exclusive employment litigation, defense background

• Strongly preferred: Current or recent experience working with school third party administrator employment panels

• Required: must have school district defense experience in employment law

• Must have 4 years of employment law defense experience

• Trial experience preferred, but not required

• Experience with public entity defense a plus

• Must have knowledge of class/PAGA inclusive

• Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees

• Member, State Bar of California in good standing

• Superior research, analytical, and negotiating ability

• Excellent written and oral communication

• Commitment to proactive case management
