Attorney | General Litigation | Hybrid | 145826 - Mission Recruiting

National firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join their San Francisco, California office. The firm has a strong national presence and offices throughout the U.S. with litigation support in many different areas of law, including general liability, premises liability, and labor and employment law.

The ideal candidate would have 1-10+ years of experience working in a general litigation firm, be willing to work in-office at least 3 days a week, and have the ability to run cases independently, with partner input and supervision.

This position requires legal research, drafting of pleadings motions and other documents, taking, and defending depositions, drafting, and answering discovery requests, trial preparation, and trial assistance. Experience with both state and federal courts is preferred.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver strong work product is a must. This position also requires the ability to communicate with both clients and colleagues in an effective and timely manner. This position may require travel for court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, site inspections, and depositions. Admission to the State Bar of California is required.

What You’ll Do:

• Represent clients in court.
• Defend challenging cases involving consumer claims, breach of contract claims, general negligence claims, and other tort claims.
• Handle Depositions
• Client management
• Support client development and marketing efforts working with partners.

What You’ll Need:

• Litigation experience.
• Bar admission in the State of California.
• Juris doctorate from ABA-accredited law school.
• Superior Organizational skills
• Excellent writing skills
