Audit Internship (Summer 2025)

Location: Rochester, NY or Ithaca, NY

Pay: $24.00/hour

We are seeking candidates interested in part-time or full-time, paid internship opportunities working in either the audit or tax department. Internships would start in June 2025 and end mid-August 2025. Positions are available in either the Rochester or Ithaca, NY offices.

Responsibilities:

• Training on and becoming proficient in our software.
  
• Gaining a basic understanding of work flows throughout our office.
  
• Improving basic organization and planning skills.
  
• Gaining exposure to dealing with clients.
  
• Hands on experience/training on standard audit or tax practices, depending on which department your internship is in.
  

Requirements:

Accounting students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and in their sophomore through senior year or enrolled in a graduate accounting degree program are eligible for this position. Students must be returning to school to be eligible. Strong verbal and written communication skills along with strong organizational skills are required. Functional knowledge of the MS Office Suite including Word and Excel are required. The ideal candidate must be able to meet deadlines, be proactive, and have solid multi-tasking skills and strong analytical ability.
