Audit Senior - Leadership Training Program
The Audit Senior position entails establishing relationships with key Company leaders, evaluating risks and controls, and providing consultation on process design and optimization. Additionally, it involves documenting, assessing, and testing processes and controls across the Company. This role is part of a leadership training program, aimed at individuals who will spend 2-3 years in the department before transitioning into other areas of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and/or participate in multiple audit engagements and projects concurrently, ensuring efficient and effective execution of each engagement.
- Gain an understanding of business processes and utilize knowledge of risk and control concepts to develop risk assessments, audit programs, and testing procedures that address identified risks and project objectives appropriately.
- Review audit evidence and demonstrate the ability to draw appropriate conclusions regarding the state of the client’s control environment.
- Identify audit issues and communicate them to management, offering recommended solutions that mitigate risks and align with business objectives.
- Prepare accurate, complete, and well-documented working papers, adhering to applicable department and professional standards consistently.
- Review working papers to ensure accuracy and completion, and assist in addressing any review points provided by team leads and/or audit management.
- Provide regular updates to team leads and/or audit management on engagement progress and audit issues, ensuring timely achievement of all deadlines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or Business.
- Minimum of 3 years of audit experience with a public accounting firm (BIG 4 Advisory highly desired) or large multinational company.
- Possession of one or more relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CFE, Chartered Accountant). CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in leading small to medium-sized teams.
- Preferably, experience in manufacturing audits.
- Excellent analytical skills and a critical mindset.
- Demonstrated potential for leadership.
- Strong collaboration, team player, and interpersonal skills.
