Audit Staff - Gpac

We are a reputable CPA firm looking for a Staff Auditor  to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Public Accounting audit experience, with CPA certification being preferred. Some day travel may be required for this position. If you are a team player, and a go-getter with an eagerness to learn, we would love to speak with you. Other Requirements are as follows:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial and operational audits in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and other audit deliverables
• Manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Identify and suggest process improvements
• Maintain excellent client relationships
• Complete administrative tasks related to engagements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• 3-5 years of Public Accounting audit experience
• Audit engagement experience
• Non-profit experience a plus
• Affordable housing industry experience a plus
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent computer skills

What do we offer?

• 55-60 Hour work weeks Jan-March
• 4 day, 32 hour work weeks from Memorial Day to the end of September
