About the Job
Summary:
One of my excellent company clients is adding an Automation Engineer to their team due to growth. You will play a key role in the development and implementation of automation solutions for their clients. You will be responsible for PLC programming using ControlLogix and Studio 5000, as well as Allen Bradley controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
- Utilize ControlLogix and Studio 5000 software for PLC programming.
- Develop HMI applications using FactoryTalk View and integrate PlantPAx 3.5 to 5.0 objects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct system integration and testing to ensure functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and debug automation systems as needed.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automation technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role with a minimum of 5 year's experience.
- Proficiency in PLC programming using ControlLogix and Studio 5000 software.
- Strong understanding of FactoryTalk View and experience with HMI development.
- Experience working with PlantPAx 3.5 to 5.0 objects for automation projects.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP and Modbus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
