Description:
This group is looking for a Devops person with Jenkins and ansible. This person will ensure stability and progress of EFS (Enterprise File System) , an Enterprise Critical Infrastructure (ECI) supporting 200+ Prioritized Critical Services and running on over 120,000 Linux midrange servers. Expertise required in maintaining the aging Perl codebase and work alongside internal architect for conversion from aging Perl to Python code base to ensure long term viability. The team is going through a transformation of product – they have a linux based delivery system right now. It is an enterprise class system with 100k+ Linux servers and they are trying to reduce the risk in that area. They are replacing the capabilities of the system and need to make the support/funding around it more robust. Automation of monitoring, health, scripting of the program. They use ansible right now for build and checks, would like to use it in more of a continuous state for reporting of health of the plant. This will include playbook writing. Experience of scale and a great history and delivery and execution will be important. From a Devops pipeline standpoint, they have about 30 pipelines. 10 of the pipelines are in very frequent use.
It will not just about what is on their resume but the manager will want to hear what they accomplished, for what company, when it happened, what challenges they faced, how they overcame it, etc. Need someone experienced and sharp. He likes people who come out of big/fast moving environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Technical expertise in all aspects of solution design and application development for all business environments
Experience in developing large-scale, back-end applications
Ability to understand, develop, and maintain complex server software
Skill in development with scripting languages and tools including Perl, Python, Bash, and Git
Experience with Agile development processes and tools, such as Jira and Confluence
Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment practices and tools, such as Jenkins and Ansible
Excellent problem solving troubleshooting skills
Utilizing multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
Experience creating technical documentation and training materials
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to adjust to technical and non-technical audiences across the organization
Ability to work collaboratively with a geographically dispersed team
Extensive Red Hat Linux experience with the ability to demonstrate knowledge of NFS
Demonstrated ability to create and maintain Ansible automation, including jobs, roles, and inventories
Experience with NetApp Network Attached Storage devices
DevOps experience with Perl / Python
Experience analyzing and reporting on operational data with Oracle SQL and Splunk
