Automotive Accounting/Billing Clerk-Tampa - Ed Morse Automotive Group

Ed Morse is currently seeking an Automotive Accounting/ Billing Clerk to join our team. 

• Processing various GL account reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process incoming payment transactions
• Oversee vendor collections, follow up on delinquent accounts
• Assist with month end closing
• Audit and Post New and Used Retail Deals and Wholesale Transactions
• Calculate Commissions
• Process Lien Payoffs
• Weekly review of schedules
• Assist with month end closing
• Perform other accounting tasks as assigned

• Have a minimum of 2 years of accounting/billing experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree in accounting or related field preferred
• Great understanding of account reconciliations
• Automotive dealership experience is preferred
• Knowledge of billing softwares and systems is a plus
• Be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced office
• Excellent computer skills including Excel and Word
• Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Must be able to work well with people on all levels and be able to communicate effectively.
