Position Overview:

A maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep of the dealership grounds. Duties include inspecting keeping the lot clean and organized, keeping the shop clean, and any additional duties assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license and favorable motor vehicle record
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check
• Authorized to work in the United States

Essential Functions:

• Perform specific work on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and per dealership standards
• Diagnose and repair automotive vehicle systems, including flushes, oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through formal training sessions to stay up-to-date with rapidly changing technology
• Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made
