Automotive Technician Seattle, WA **Onsite** Contract $30/hr - $37.19/hr Our client, a well known electric vehicle company is urgently looking to hire an **Automotive Technician** to join their team **ON SITE in Seattle, WA!** **** This is a 6+ month contract to hire on W2 offering a full benefits package **** **Required Skills & Experience** + 2-5+ years of experience + Must possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record + Ability to properly document repairs completed and in process + Experience working in an automotive repair shop preferred + Proficient in using hand tools and power tools + Experience working on electric vehicles preferred **Job Responsibilities** + Ability to assist in daily Amazon EDV business operations often requested on ad hoc basis, including shuttling vehicles back and forth from delivery stations + Conduct pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles, using a documented process, checklist, and guidelines + Document results (pass/fail)of pre-delivery inspections and communicate results to team members/supervisor + Follow our repair procedures with efficiency without compromising quality and safety + Perform or assist with assigned diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections on vehicles + Assist and support vehicle repairs in a setting outside of a service center + Conduct road tests on vehicles to ensure quality of the repair + Perform necessary parts operations such as parts ordering, receiving, shipping and inventory + Stay up to date with technical skills and required training + Support campaigns and containment initiatives + Maintain and process accurate expense reporting as needed + Establish peer relationships and work under the mentorship of a senior technician + Maintain high quality work and efficiency while working with little supervision + Work with a collaborative attitude and team spirit in an ever-changing, dynamic environment **You will receive the following benefits:** + Medical Insurance - Four medical plans to choose from for you and your family + Dental & Orthodontia Benefits + Vision Benefits + Health Savings Account (HSA) + Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts + Voluntary Life Insurance, Long-Term & Short-Term Disability Insurance + Hospital Indemnity Insurance + 401(k) including match with pre and post-tax options + Paid Sick Time Leave + Legal and Identity Protection Plans + Pre-tax Commuter Benefit + 529 College Saver Plan Motion Recruitment Partners (MRP) is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including Veterans/Disability/Women.
