About the Job
Well-established full-service European auto repair facility seeking an Automotive Technician.
The experienced technician shall be capable of diagnosing, inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and servicing European-made vehicles. The technician works with no direct supervision in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following functions:
The experienced technician shall be capable of diagnosing, inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and servicing European-made vehicles. The technician works with no direct supervision in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following functions:
- Follow the proper procedures pertaining the shop safety, standing environmental regulations, maintenance practices, and completion of required work order documentation.
- Perform service, inspections, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of vehicles.
- Accomplish repairs and perform services as outlined in established technical manuals.
- Perform inspection and repair on various brake systems, suspension, wheels, tires and steering systems, drive-train components, electrical systems, repairing fuel injections and ignition systems.
- Understand and follow technical manuals, wiring, and hydraulic schematics, repairing fuel injections and ignition systems.
- Perform major repairs by disassembling and cleaning parts, removing components, removing, and installation of worn or broken parts, and removing components, removal, and installation of worn or broken parts & assemblies, and installation of components.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on A/C systems.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Must be an Experienced Technician with experience on European-made vehicles.
- Energetic, motivated, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, hardworking, dependable, and able to work in a team environment is a must.
- Must have own tools.
- Must be able to read, understand, and follow technical manuals to ensure proper diagnosis and repair.
- Ability to read and troubleshoot repairs on gasoline and diesel engines, various brake systems, drive-train components, suspensions, and steering systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to use computers and vehicle maintenance computer software and Microsoft applications.
- MUST BE LOCATED IN THE US.
