We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Aviation Accessories Technician to join our team located in Doral, FL. This position offers a competitive salary starting at $30-$33 per hour along with excellent benefits and opportunities for growth and development within the company.
As an Aviation Accessories Technician, you'll be crucial in maintaining accessory components for jet engine services. Your role involves troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, testing, and inspecting aviation accessories to ensure peak performance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs, modifications, and tests following manufacturer’s instructions and repair station processes.
- Troubleshoot product failures and conduct necessary maintenance to restore articles to operational status.
- Utilize electronic test equipment and hand tools accurately for maintenance tasks.
- Handle solder work in compliance with industry standards.
- Complete detailed documentation of all work and inspections carried out.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Execute routine production assembly operations on engine mechanical assemblies and aircraft systems.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 2+ years of experience in engine harness wire routing, wire dressing, harness repairs, cannon plug repairs, and functional testing of aviation components.
- Knowledge of testing and repairs of ball screw actuators, VSV actuators, and testing equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or sit for prolonged periods as required.
