Cloud Architect - An Azure Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure. Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing Azure-based solutions: Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Azure.
Collaborating with teams: Work with other IT professionals to ensure the resilience, security, and optimal performance of Azure infrastructure.
Cost management: Estimate costs and identify cost control mechanisms for Azure resources.
Security and compliance: Implement Azure security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Disaster recovery: Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
Specific skills: Knowledge and experience in Azure Application Hosting, Integration, and Application Security resources (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Services, Data Factory, DevOps CI/CD pipelines, App Registration, Storage Account, DBaaS, Cosmos DB).
Application Architect - An Azure Application Architect focuses on designing and managing cloud-based applications on the Azure platform. Their main duties involve:
Designing and building applications: Create and implement applications tailored to business needs using Azure services.
Technical roadmaps: Develop technical roadmaps for future Azure cloud implementations.
Optimization: Evaluate and optimize existing solutions to improve performance and scalability.
Documentation: Document architectural plans and solutions for future reference.
Specific skills: Knowledge and experience in Azure Application Hosting, Integration, and Application Security resources (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Services, Data Factory, DevOps CI/CD pipelines, App Registration, Storage Account, DBaaS, Cosmos DB).
Application Stack: Full stack developer experience; Experience in .Net Core, Angular and NodeJS
CI/CD pipelines: Manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Azure applications.
Monitoring and troubleshooting: Monitor Azure environments and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation.
Knowledge in Healthcare insurance domain
Ability to lead multiple initiatives and plan small projects
