About the Job
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company's market presence. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing strategic initiatives to enhance revenue and market share. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, marketing, and business strategy within the residential restoration industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans to achieve company growth targets.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, trends, and potential partnerships.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate and close business deals with new and existing clients.
- Sales and Marketing:
- Lead the sales team to achieve revenue goals and expand the customer base.
- Develop and execute effective marketing strategies to promote the company’s services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
- Project Management:
- Oversee the execution of business development projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of services.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for business development activities.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on business development performance.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and mentor business development staff.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Set clear goals and expectations for the business development team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the residential restoration industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of the residential restoration market and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
