Pay rates from $23/hr. to $27/hr. depending on years of experience!

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. 

We are currently seeking a full-time Bachelor's Level Mental Health Professional to join our team at Jefferson City Correctional  Center located in Jefferson City, Missouri.

The Bachelor’s Level Mental Health Professional provides basic mental health treatment in the form of psycho-educational groups and mental health rounds, and assists with discharge planning/re-entry, and serves in other supportive roles, as requested, to the mental health staff under the supervision of licensed mental health staff in collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team in a correctional setting.

• Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences (i.e. psychology, social work, counseling or related field) from an accredited educational institution required
• Experience conducting psycho-educational groups preferred
• Experience in a correctional environment preferred
• Minimum of one year experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred
• Must show current tuberculosis documentation, must be appropriately certified in first aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / Basic Life Support (BLS), and automated external defibrillator (AED) use
• Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
