Are you a talented Bankruptcy Paralegal with Complex Commercial Litigation experience working with a very heavy, multi-jurisdictional case load? Do you have a keen eye for detail, exceptional proofreading capabilities, manage timelines and meets deadlines, is used to working in a fast-paced environment, easily multi-tasks, and can stay calm and collected under pressure? What you will be doing:
Our client seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented person to serve as a complex commercial litigation/business bankruptcy paralegal. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to handle large volumes of work associated with each matter, case or transaction, and will work well under tight and shifting deadlines. Additionally, experience in representing Chapter 7 trustees, creditors, investors, distressed debt lenders and committees is preferred.

- Highly organized
- Familiar with the e-filing system of CM/ECF
- Able to acclimate to the handling of cases in various jurisdictions throughout the United States and overseas
- Prepare various motions for relief, fee applications, proofs of claim, and from time to time, petitions, schedules and financial statements
- Have a passion for helping people
- Applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
- Individual will need to know how to multi-task, must be organized and needs to be able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Individuals who apply should be proficient in calendaring events, filing documents with the court (including ECF filing), drafting, discovery and managing physical and electronic records
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Bankruptcy Paralegal, performing duties as indicated
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of Best Case Software
- Extensive knowledge of Bankruptcy and Federal law
- ECF Pacer training and experience with filing via ECF
- Any experience in California law would be helpful
