A substantial part of the 200-acre Viking Lakes mixed-use development, this destination is home to the Minnesota Vikings headquarters, Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center and TCO Stadium. The location is easily accessible from downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul, the Mall of America and airport, with additional uses for the planned development to include corporate offices, retail, restaurants and entertainment.
The 320-room luxury hotel features more than 35,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and pre-function space, including a 7,500-square-foot ballroom, a 4,410-square-foot event center and six two-story hospitality lounges for groups and meeting planners to utilize. Job Description
Responsible for the distribution of all supplies and equipment as required to all food and beverage outlets.
Responsibilities
- Fill requisitions for beverage product for all outlets.
- Transport beverage supplies and equipment to proper location, including private functions.
- Receive deliveries of liquor, beer and wine and maintain purchase orders and invoices accurately and legibly.
- Maintain proper par levels of all nonalcoholic items - requisitions to purchasing filled daily.
- Responsible to coordinate and setup beverage and bar functions daily as detailed on the coordination sheets.
- Must maintain condition of unstaffed hospitality functions, including but not limited to setup refreshment and breakdown.
- Set buffets for private functions as required.
- Maintain accurate function sheets for billing purposes.
- Responsible for security of storeroom, beverage vans, and keys.
- Maintain orders and cleanliness of beverage storeroom and adjacent areas.
- Assist in conducting inventory for all product in storeroom as needed.
- Attend department meetings and other required company trainings.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Must have and maintain current Food Handler and TABC certifications.
- Must agree and adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to remain calm and portray a friendly demeanor in stressful situations.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and evenings.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Working Environment:
- Interior of restaurant kitchens, bar areas, storeroom, with travel around resort property as needed.
- Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.
- Exposure to food items and beverages.
