As the PART-TIME Barista, you will skillfully craft the perfect beverage with consistency. With a wide range of beverage offerings, attention to detail and working quickly & accurately will help ensure your success. You'll also be responsible for keeping your station and the larger establishment clean and stocked. Being a barista offers you a community of passionate coffee lovers and frequent opportunities for continued learning.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
- Take coffee, beverage and food orders, input orders into POS system, collect payment and prepare orders.
- Bus coffee cart areas and tables.
- Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas.
- Ensure that appliances are turned on/off at the appropriate times.
- Stock and maintain work areas.
- Take orders, input orders into POS system, collect payment and prepare orders.
- Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment throughout the day.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication skills written/verbal
Must have open availability
Must be friendly and organize
Baristas need to be comfortable with using POS system
