Behav Interv Spec L1 PT - AHRC Nassau

Behavioral health services and positive behavioral supports are provided to adults with IDD by Masters level Behavior Intervention Specialists (BIS)

Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Provide services designed to maximize the intellectual, social, and emotional development and functioning of individuals receiving services under the supervision of an Assistant Director of Psychology and Ph.D. licensed psychologist Practices and promotes the agency mission statement in every interaction. Provide ongoing support to people in becoming active participants in every aspect of their lives and to ensure that a high quality of life is maintained.

Must have Master's degree in Psychology or related field AND at least 3 years of experience working with people with IDD.
