Your day as a PT Behavior Specialist
Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Behavior Technician in the STRIDE Program of Saratoga Springs, Utah where you'll play a crucial role in providing individualized support to clients. Your responsibilities will include supervising clients, planning activities, crisis management, teaching living skills, and documenting behaviors. Engage in staff meetings, review documents, monitor client behaviors and medication responses, administer medications, and prioritize client safety.

Requirements for this PT Behavior Specialist job
To excel as a Behavior Technician at Wasatch Behavioral Health, candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED along with at least one year of post-high school education in social work, psychology, or a related field. While one year of general work experience is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. The ability to navigate center vehicles when necessary is advantageous, although not mandatory. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not essential for this role. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, empathy, attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively in a team, and a genuine passion for helping others improve their quality of life.

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check.
