Launch: Early Career Leadership Program – R&D: Fiber

The ECLP is an innovative, cohort-based professional development program designed to help high achieving college grads jump start their careers. When you belong to Belden's ECLP, you'll be part of a team participating in real-world, challenging, interactive, and action-based learning curriculum, developing your skills on the job. You'll earn valuable experience over three 12-month rotations through different areas of the company.

As a member of our ECLP Class of 2028, you'll be fully immersed with a global team of R&D fiber experts, eager to teach and learn from you along the way. You'll develop a strong understanding of how a global business operates from the inside and develop functional and leadership skills that will set a solid foundation for the rest of your career. We offer opportunities to work in our facility in Tucson, AZ.

Potential rotations could include:

Product or Design Engineer

• Develop laboratory experience

• Advance manufacturing knowledge

• Experience the product launch process

Fiber Testing Engineer

• Perform optical, mechanical, and environmental tests on fiber optic cable and connectivity products

• Design and improve existing test procedures to enhance accuracy

• Evaluate new materials

Manufacturing or Quality Engineer

• Learn about compliance, customs/trade and project management

• Analyze testing procedures, machine capabilities and material flow

• Experience Lean management

• Academic Achievement – you are pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Automated Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields of study

• Experience – you should have some previous relevant experience, such as hands-on laboratory and/or cable design experience in addition to technical curiosity

Applicants can expect a base compensation of $80,000, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.  This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
