Job Title: Associate Scientist / Protein Biotherapeutics
Duration: 18 months contract, extendable up to 36 months

Bench Scientist
Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated contract scientist to join the Molecular Assessment and Profiling group in BioMedicine Design.
The candidate will work with a talented team of scientists to develop innovative protein biotherapeutics to bring curative treatments to patients.
This individual will perform critical biophysical/analytical assays using a suite of established methods.
Responsibilities:
Develop innovative protein biotherapeutics
Perform critical biophysical assays using a suite of established methods
Perform critical analytical assays using a suite of established methods
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Biochemistry major with a minimum of 0-2+ years of biochemistry research experience
Familiar with protein bioanalytical characterization concepts including but not limited to aSEC (aggregation), iCE (charge profile), CGE (fragmentation) and DSC (thermal stability)
Fast learner, detail-oriented and highly organized; ability to complete experiments with limited supervision after fully trained
Able to clearly communicate experiment results; experienced with using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for data presenting and reporting.
