Position: Benefit Analyst
The Benefits Analyst is responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (group health, dental vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending plan, retirement plans, COBRA, etc.). This position will be responsible for annual reporting, benefits billing, and coordinating company wellness initiatives. In addition to these responsibilities, this position will also provide support as needed in areas of training and development, compensation, recruiting, safety, and other day-to-day tasks or projects.
Essential Accountabilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

This position will be responsible for annual reporting, benefits billing, and coordinating company wellness initiatives. In addition to these responsibilities, this position will also provide support as needed in areas of training and development, compensation, recruiting, safety, and other day-to-day tasks or projects.
Essential Accountabilities
- Administer company benefit plans and programs including health, dental, flexible spending, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance any other benefit plans offered by the company.
- Serve as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators.
- Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees (Benefit statements, ACA Reporting, 401(k) auditing, etc).
- Coordinate daily benefits processing. Handle enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident, and death claims, loans, hardships, etc.
- Benefit Statements
- Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Audit and process benefit invoices.
- Lead monthly and quarterly wellness events, newsletters, and wellness programs.
- Manage and coordinate the employee service award program.
- Manage benefit support orders and maintain records as needed.
- Approval of benefit entries
- Termination of benefits process
- Open Enrollment Facilitation
- New Employee benefits enrollment
- Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems that align with corporate mission, vision, values, strategic initiatives, and annual business plans.
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continuous improvement in the efficiency of the department and services performed.
- Primary trainer for the Human Resources team on benefits and related procedures.
- Assist Environmental, Health & Safety Manager with safety-related initiatives and administration.
- All other duties as assigned by the VP of Human Resources.
Minimum Qualifications
