Today'sHR is one of the largest, independently owned, Human Resources Consulting, Outsourcing and PEO firms in California. For more than thirty years, we have assisted employers with the complex and high end functions relating to their Human Resources.
We are currently seeking a full time Benefits Representative to provide daily benefits administration services to our clients and their employees.
Our Benefits Representative must exhibit a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and flexibility/adaptability in a fast-paced, team environment. He/she will possess excellent customer service skills and be able to travel as needed, sometimes with little notice. Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite and prior use of HRIS/Payroll/Benefits Administration systems is a must. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred but not required.
What You Will Do:
- Provide daily benefits administration support to clients
- Planning and communication of benefits open enrollment
- Assist employees with claims and coverage issues
- Track and process new hire eligibility/enrollments and status changes
- Process life event changes
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies
- Process benefits and payroll deduction adjustments
- Create and present benefits presentations and materials
- Understand and communicate compliance with benefits-related regulations such as COBRA, FMLA, and ACA.
- Must be able to travel to clients location to assist in onboarding as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
What You Will You Bring:
- At least 2 years experience in benefits administration or a benefit-related field.
- A.A. Degree or equivalent from 2-year College or technical school and 2+ years related experience preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and other related HRIS software required. Experience working with iSolved HRIS preferred.
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks; meet deadlines; work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision; exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to solve problems logically and quickly, using good judgment or escalate issues when appropriate.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
