Overview
Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a Bentley Support Lead and Trainer our San Diego, CA office. This is an in-office opportunity.
Responsibilities
This position will support project teams using Bentley software across the firm through technical support, training and managing CAD standards. The selected candidate will:
• Support various project teams' utilization of Bentley engineering software from 3D modeling into design, production, and asset management
• Design and deliver Bentley end user training for various disciplines and skill levels, emphasizing roadway and surface water practices
• Coordinate with CAD teams for timely software upgrades and deployment of Bentley OpenRoads Designer, Microstation and other Bentley software
• Validate client-specific and KH CAD standards
• Mentor and train CAD team partners utilizing best practices for Bentley software products
• Create documented guidance and real-time support for KH helpdesk regarding Bentley support topics
• Recommend emerging tools and strategies to improve work efficiency
• Coordinate with IT developers to solve project related problems
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of Civil Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in civil engineering design with experience working on large-scale roadway projects, complex drainage projects, and digital delivery principles
• Experience with developing training content, troubleshooting CAD issues, and training CAD users
• In-depth knowledge of Bentley design programs
• Experience training, supporting, and mentoring technical staff
• Experience with backend implementation of DOT and municipal CAD standards
• Effective communication skills
Salary Range:
• $140,000 to $180,000
• Eligible for Performance Based Bonus Compensation
