Scheduled Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 7:00 pm, Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm and Saturday's available as well.

Hourly Pay: Competitive hourly wage $15-17/hr (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

The primary duties of this position encompass a variety of essential tasks to ensure smooth operations at the front desk of the medical office. Responsibilities include general office maintenance, greeting patients, and answering common inquiries regarding insurance and scheduling. The role requires answering phone calls and emails, welcoming both patients and prospective clients, and scheduling appointments for consultations, procedures, and visits with medical personnel. Coordination with healthcare professionals is vital, as the individual will liaise about schedules, patient needs, and any changes that may arise.

Additionally, the role involves handling new patient intakes, checking insurance eligibility, and faxing referral requests and other medical documents. A key responsibility is coordinating providers' calendars to optimize appointment availability, as well as promptly resolving any scheduling conflicts that may occur. This multifaceted position is crucial in maintaining effective communication within the office and ensuring a positive experience for patients.
