About the Job
Oversee the day-to-day operations and administration of the program.
Provide direct and consistent supervision to Assistant Program Director, Administrative Assistant, and Case Management team.
Recruit, hire, train, develop, supervise, and evaluate staff regularly and consistently.
Provide supervision to staff; promote staff development, evaluate their work and initiate performance improvement plans when required.
Support evidence-based practice models including person centered planning, motivational interviewing, trauma informed care, culturally sensitive, and strengths-based approach.
Establish and cultivate professional and positive relationships with residents.
Oversee the coordination of referrals within the community such as medical, mental health, ESOL, job training and legal assistance.
Coordinate with the Mayor’s Office of Immigration Affairs (MOIA) and other legal assistance programs.
Stay informed on all contract requirements, ensure compliance, and assist in completion of documentation/funder reporting
Ensure documentation including incident reporting is completed in a timely manner.
Provide crisis intervention as needed for residents.
Plan and troubleshoot with facilities and security staff.
Meeting with operations and security staff for planning and site management.
Oversee rosters and attendance is updated in real time.
Lead team meetings, and weekly communications and updates
Attend bi-weekly agency Department Head meetings.
Ensure quality and integrity of services and program.
On-call responsibilities and shift coverage for 24/7 operation.
Other duties as needed.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human services field required.
Master’s degree in social work or human services field preferred.
2 years of supervisory experience required.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken) required.
Experience working on-site in a congregate housing setting.
Knowledgeable on immigration laws, procedures, and benefits/entitlements, with the ability to stay up to date with changing procedures.
Strong understanding of trauma and how it manifests, as well as experience delivering trauma-informed, culturally sensitive services.
F-80 Certification required within 90 days of hire.

Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to negotiate numerous priorities, resolve conflicts, and manage a high degree of communication with multiple parties.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with upper management and agency resources when needed.
Excellent judgement
Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to learn data base systems, such as CARES
