Establish a relationship with customers and be confident in the product to be able to trouble shoot support and upsell when applicable. Speak with customer about the company’s product and ask for education suggestions. Maintain good customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Answer Ask a Tax Pro questions daily.
- Instructor for the company.
- Research federal and state course content.
- Onboarding Instructors new and returning.
- Keep instructor onboarding webinar calendar current.
- Formatting and translating the manuscripts.
A. Answer Ask a Tax Pro Questions Daily
- Log into Zendesk.
- Start with the oldest question not answered.
- Communicate with the team if need help with the questions.
- Upsell those who are not VIP members before answering the questions.
B. Instructor Onboarding
- Onboard instructors as needed.
- Maintain, create, and record instructor videos.
- Maintain and create instructor PowerPoint’s, and other PowerPoint items as needed.
- Answer all instructor calls to assist in their training needs.
- Develop syllabus and class schedules for the individual instructor if needed.
- Coordinating with team members on improving the:
- Instructor Guide
- Instructor Agreement
- Instructor Learning Path
- End user experience
- Weekly Instructor Corner
C. Onboarding Procedure
- Verify client is an instructor in the CRM.
- Enroll new or renewing Instructors yearly for the onboarding session.
- Make sure that all instructors have completed live onboarding training.
- Follow the Instructor Onboarding Procedure.
- Do they need help with creating a syllabus?
- Create small videos for a short refresher course and add to the instructor learning paths. Sample topics could be, how to purchase seats, how to enroll students to their live online class, etc.
D. Other Job Duties
- Train others willingly.
- Understand how the sales team communicates with our customers, online chat, phone call, email, etc.
- Presenter and/or moderator of online Spanish/English webinars.
- Manage and moderate instructor Facebook lives, Zoom meetups, other duties that arise in this context.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Working on or is an Enrolled Agent (EA).
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Detail oriented.
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to prepare written reports, correspondence and presentations to the executive team when required.
- Competent to maintain positive relationships internally and externally.
- Perform desktop publishing, create, and develop visual presentation when necessary.
- Ability to work independently and with team members.
- Perform as a project manager for special projects.
- Bilingual Spanish read, write and translate English to Spanish.
- Federal and state tax knowledge preferred.
- Accounting knowledge preferred.
- Public speaking ability preferred.
- Knowledgeable of technology and not afraid to learn new technology required.
Computer literate and knowledge of the following software:
- MS Office Suite
- Adobe Suite
- Understand Content Management System (CMS)
- Zoom
- Live chat features
- Client Retention Management software (CRM)
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: $30 - $60 Hourly
